Polled Hereford Cattle
We AI'd several cows to Beau Rollo 60 last Fall, and we're planning on using him quite a bit more this Spring.  It'll be a couple of years before we have offspring from him available for sale.
Please excuse the pose.  KCF Bennett 774 L153 is a very correct son of Feltons Domino 774.  He is a maternal brother to H142.  He has been a herd sire since late 2002, and we have more than 40 of his daughters in production at our farm.  L153 is a reliable low birthweight bull with exceptional carcasss characteristics.  We'll sell full-possession and 1/3 semen interest in L153 for $1,500.
Our top Herdsire for our grass-based genetics is EEH Lamplighter 21 (Lamp).  Lamp is from a Henkel Herefords, a titely linebred herd of Herefords in Fairbury, Nebraska.  Lamp's sire was born in 1952, and his dam pedigree is very tight to the same cow families.  We can tell a new Lamp calf from 100+ yards - they look like little blocks.  Semen is available on Lamp for $25 per straw, and Lamp sons will be available for sale by Late 2008.
